Independence Goes to Aspen

The Evergreen Players are taking their Colorado Theatre Festival show, Independence, on the road! Aspen Stage will host the Players' production on October 20 & 21 at the Black Box Theatre at Aspen High School. The Players' entry to the 2006 Colorado Community Theater Coalition Festival competition in Idaho Springs, "Independence" is a powerful, disturbing study of a family divided against itself. Produced to critical and popular acclaim as part of the Humana Festival of New American Plays of the Actors Theatre of Louisville. The Players performed at the Festival on June 23. 2006 at Clear Creek High School in Idaho Springs. Now they have been invited to take the show to the Black Box Theater in Aspen.
