Independence
SUMMARY
The Players' entry to the 2006 Colorado Community Theater Coalition Festival competition in Idaho Springs, "Independence" is a powerful, disturbing study of a family divided against itself. Produced to critical and popular acclaim as part of the Humana Festival of New American Plays of the Actors Theatre of Louisville. The Players will be performing at the Festival on Friday, June 23rd at 7:00pm, at Clear Creek High School in Idaho Springs. Visit www.cctcfestival.com for more information. Preview performances of "Independence" and Vintage Theatre Productions' "Hello Out There" are Friday, June 16 and Saturday, June 17 at 7:30 pm at Center/Stage. EPiC (Evergreen Players Improv Comedy) is a form of live theatre in which the plot, characters and dialogue of a game, scene or story are made up in the moment. The EPiC troupe will take a suggestion from the audience as a source of inspiration. Improv is spontaneous, entertaining, fun and engages the audience for a truly unique experience.
